What kind of activities are available at O-Volt?
We offer a variety of activity zones for all ages including; trampoline, climbing, ninja course, and a kidszone for the little ones. For pictures of our centre, click here.
Can I leave my child at O-Volt and pick them up later?
If all of the children present are 13 years or older, they do not require adult supervision. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older).
Do I have to wear shoes, if so, what kind of shoes?
We recommend wearing anti-slip socks on the trampolines and in the KidsZone. They are available at the front desk ($3), however they are not required.
For the climbing section, we rent climbing shoes but a pair of indoor running shoes is also accepted. No bare feet while climbing.
Do I have to leave the activity area once my trampoline time is up?
Once your time has expired in the trampoline section, you can either add another hour or you can purchase a daily access pass (trampolines excluded) for the rest of the day. You are also welcome to take a break in our cafe area and have a drink or snack.
Do I have to pay if I'm supervising my child?
If you are not participating you do not have to pay. You can access the areas to supervise your children for free. We have two viewing areas, one close to the trampoline section and one close to the KidsZone.
What is the bracelet system?
Colour: This is associated with the end of an hour. The colour codes are listed on site or you can ask one of the employees.
White: If you are wearing a white bracelet, you have access to the climbing, ninja course and KidsZone until closing time.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
At O-Volt we require each participant to sign a waiver. All participants aged 18 or older must sign a personal waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must be signed under the waiver of an adult. To sign the waiver click here.
Are the activities safe?
Each sport has its risks. At O-Volt, we do our best to minimize these risks. You can consult the rules of our centre in the safety section of our website for more information.
Can everyone use the high performance trampolines?
Only people who have successfully passed their accreditation can access this section. The accreditation costs $5, if the person passes one of the two levels, they will then have access to this section each time they visit O-Volt.
Level 1 gives you general access to the high performance trampolines. level 2 allows you to use the blocks and walls and to perform flips.
Do I need socks on the trampolines?
Bare feet and anti-slip socks are permitted on the trampolines. Anti-slip socks are available at the front desk for $3. Regular socks are not permitted on the trampolines.
What is the level 1 and 2 accreditation?
- 10 jumps (at least 1/3 of the jumpers height) in the red rectangle on the trampoline.
- 3 preparation jumps, landing on your back, landing back on your feet with a complete stop
- 3 preparation jumps, landing on your front, landing back on your feet with a complete stop
- Perform a simple front and back roll on the trampoline
- The jumper must successfully:
- Jump, land on their knees and finish a front flip
- Jump, land on their back and finish a back flip
- The jumper must complete a complete flip of their choice with a complete stop
Do I need any climbing equipment?
The only equipment necessary to climb is a pair of climbing shoes or indoor running shoes. We do rent climbing shoes which are available at the front desk for $5
What age can my child start climbing?
Children ages 6 and up have access to the climbing section. For safety reasons, we ask parents to supervise their children under the age of 13.
Do I need to be accredited to climb at O-Volt?
You do not need an accreditation because our climbing section is a “boulder” type climbing gym with thick mats to stop your falls.
How often do you change your problems?
We have divided our climbing section into 10 sections. We try to change 1 section every 3 – 4 days.
Do I need to make a reservation prior to arrival?
General admissions and groups of less than 20 people do not require a reservation. We do recommend purchasing your tickets online and signing the waiver prior to your arrival to speed up the process, however it is not mandatory.
