In recent years, creative explosion in the world of sports has manifested. Not only are the athletes pushing the humanly recognized limits, but the creation of new disciplines has brought a welcomed breath of fresh air. This trend has guided the coaches of the O-Volt Recreation Center towards a course program highly appreciated by young athletes and their parents by combining technical movements and creativity. Here’s how O-Volt trampoline and ninja course classes can propel your child towards healthy growth and an active life!

Mission

The mission at O-Volt Recreation Center is to get everyone moving safely by offering a diversified and evolving course program. First, mastering basic techniques is essential for any safe trampoline or ninja course practice. A follow-up of the skills mastered is therefore noted in the young athlete’s O-Volt course passport. This tool will help keep track of performance and achievements for the child during these changes of course levels and instructors. However, beyond this rigorous framework, teaching has a recreational purpose. The goal is to get the child moving in a fun environment so that they maintain healthy lifestyle habits forever. Additionally, the small groups of 6-8 participants allow the instructor to focus on the development and specific goals of each child. Sure to be proud!

Courses for 2 to 16 years of age

Children are invited to register from the age of 2 for the Pirouettes motor development course accompanied by their parent. Then the Cabrioles will follow on the trampolines for our Little Jumpers aged 4-5 years. For children six years and older, the Champions, Saltos, Baranis and Freestyles are the levels they should follow along. For Ninja classes, two classes are offered depending on the age of the participants. Within a group, different challenges are offered.

Our facilities

O-Volt offers participants of all ages the opportunity to practice movement techniques in a safe environment. For example, using an inflatable cushion rather than a foam pit as a landing pad provides added safety for practicing tricks. O-Volt‘s trampoline installations follow ASTM construction standards (F2970-15). Finally, the Haute-Voltige area and its Olympic trampolines are strictly supervised teaching tools in order to maintain a high level of safety.

Registration

Registration for the Fall 2022 session will open in mid-August. The course session will begin in mid-September. Evaluation evenings will be offered to guide you towards the right choice of level for your child. For more information, you can subscribe to our O-Volt newsletter or follow us on our Facebook page. Whether your child is a gymnast, cheerleader, freestyle skier, or skateboard enthusiast, many skills will be developed during O-Volt classes, ensuring electrifying fun!
